NEBOSH qualifications for HSEQ advisor jobs in construction
HSEQ advisors are increasingly involved in both strategic and operational health, safety, environment and quality management. The job often involves the development, implementation and monitoring of health, safety, environment and quality policies, systems and procedures as well as managing health, safety, environment and quality compliance on-site.
HSEQ jobs in the construction industry tend to require the NEBOSH Construction Certificate as a minimum, whereas corporate, public sector and facilities management companies require the NEBOSH General Certificate. IOSH membership is also required.
Other relevant environmental and quality management qualifications can also be gained from The Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment (IEMA) and The Institute of Quality Assurance (IQA).
