About Solihull NHS

Solihull NHS Care Trust has been established as a way of providing the most joined-up health and social services possible directly to 212,000 patients registered at 31 GP practices. The Trust is forward thinking and will change the way that healthcare is provided in the future: all the services previously provided by the Primary NHS Care Trust and Solihull Council’s Adult Social Services will be delivered by the NHS Care Trust. Our focus is on quality of service: ensuring that people get the right care in the right place at the right time.

We aim to bring better health and social care to Solihull through a culture of continual improvement, making the best use of technology and our skilled staff to deliver to the customer. In order to meet our key strategic objectives in line with World Class Commissioning the Trust has undergone a restructure, and is now in a position to recruit the right staff to ensure performance and delivery in an environment where we can really make a difference.

World class commissioning

Adding years to life and life to years

The world class commissioning programme aims to dramatically transform the way we commission health and care services in this country. By strengthening commissioning capability we will deliver better health and well-being for all, better care for all and better value for all.

World class commissioning will deliver a more strategic and long-term approach to commissioning services, with a clear focus on delivering improved health outcomes.
